COVID-19 MEDICAL COVERAGE

As part of our Safe with Sunwing commitment, we’re providing insurance underwritten by The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company (Manulife) to help cover emergency medical costs in the unlikely event that you contract COVID-19 on vacation.

COVID-19 Emergency Medical Insurance:

• You’ll automatically receive coverage at no additional cost to you if you book an all inclusive vacation package that includes flights on board Sunwing Airlines flights (excluding cruise and air only bookings).
• Applies to bookings made between September 27, 2021 and January 17, 2022 for travel between November 1, 2021 and April 30, 2022.
• The plan is applicable for a maximum duration of 22 days of travel.
• Up to $200,000 for medical expenses related to COVID-19, such as medical consultations, specialty care, hospital admittance, surgery, cost of air ambulance, if medically necessary.

Manulife Pandemic Travel Plan For additional COVID-19 coverage, including trip interruption benefits, you can upgrade to the Manulife Pandemic Travel Plan for as low as $4 per day or $28 per week. Coverage is subject to eligibility conditions, terms and exclusions as indicated in the insurance policy booklet.
