Behind the scenes at Finest Playa Mujeres with Sarah and Bryan Baeumler

For our recent cover shoot, the Sunwing Weddings team visited Finest Playa Mujeres with cover stars Sarah and Bryan Baeumler, who enjoyed a mini romantic getaway and vow renewal! Read on for a behind-the-scenes look at their stay.
Venues with memorable views
There are plenty of beautiful venues to choose from at Finest Playa Mujeres. Sarah and Bryan exchanged their vows at the stone arch wedding gazebo, which provides breathtaking views of the beach and sparkling sea. The two-storey Sky Bar is the perfect location for a sunset ceremony or reception, providing panoramic views of the water and the lush resort grounds - it's also where Sarah and Bryan held their reception!
Private dining
Sarah and Bryan held their vow renewal reception dinner in the private dining room at Lizo Cocina Mexicana, which can fit up to 30 guests. Other restaurants at the resort offer private dining experiences including a Teppanyaki-experience room at the Asian restaurant and a Parisian-inspired room at the French bistro (pictured).
Finishing touches
Upon arrival at Sarah and Bryan's vow renewal reception, glasses of Jack & Coke (Bryan's favourite drink) and rosé (Sarah's favourite drink) were passed around to guests. The coordinators at Finest Playa Mujeres also made sure that both the ceremony and reception spaces were adorned in the couple's favourite colour scheme of white and soft creams.
Luxury living
There are plenty of lavish accommodation options to choose from at the resort, from family-friendly swim-up suites to adults only rooftop terrace suites. The resort's Two Story Rooftop Terrace Suites offer private rooftop plunge pools and gorgeous ocean views! Sarah and Bryan were certainly fans of the two-story suite, which is where they filmed their exclusive ET Canada interview.
