Gift cards must be purchased using a valid Canadian credit card (Visa or MasterCard) on Sunwing.ca.
All purchases are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and cannot be converted into other currencies.
A minimum purchase of $50 CAD and maximum purchase of $1,000 CAD applies.
Gift cards cannot be used to purchase a new gift card.
Gift cards will be delivered to the recipient via the email address provided. Please ensure that a valid email address is provided for the intended recipient.
All gift cards sales are final.
Redeeming Gift Cards
Gift Cards can be redeemed when booking your travel through Sunwing.ca, the Sunwing Sales Centre at 1-877-786-9464 or through your local travel agent. Terms and conditions apply.
Gift cards can be used towards payment of new bookings or for bookings where just the deposit has been collected (and, in the case of the latter, gift cards can be used towards payment of the final amount).
Gift cards can be used towards the purchase of Sunwing products, including but not limited to vacation packages, cruises, flights, room upgrades, Elite Plus, advanced seat selection, group vacations, private transfers, excursions, etc. (excluding car rentals, duty free purchases, inflight goods/services, airport purchases, and purchases made in destination).
More than one gift card can be used per booking and there is no limit on how many gift cards can be used towards one purchase.
Gift cards do not expire and can be redeemed for a full amount or for a partial amount. If a balance remains after the first use, that balance will remain on file until the entire balance of the gift card has been redeemed.
Other discounts and offers can be redeemed in conjunction with gift card purchases (e.g. an applicable discount on a vacation package during a sale or promotional offer).
Gift cards can also be used in combination with any form of travel voucher or future travel credit.
Gift cards cannot be redeemed on the same day of purchase. The gift card balance will be available to use 5 days after it has been purchased.
Fraudulent, Lost or Stolen Gift Cards
Sunwing is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards, or gift cards being used without the owner’s permission.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that they input the correct email address for their intended recipient. Sunwing will not be held responsible for delivery to incorrect recipients due to the wrong email address being entered during check-out.
Sunwing reserves the right to deactivate or reject any gift card that is issued or procured, either directly or indirectly, in connection with fraudulent actions.
Refunds and Cancellations
Gift cards are non-refundable and are not redeemable for cash.
If a vacation package is cancelled and a refund is owing, and was purchased using a gift card, the refund will be issued back in the form of a gift card.
