Customers who book a Sunwing vacation package receive their first checked bag FREE (a value of $100+ roundtrip). Florida vacation packages are excluded. Baggage is available for purchase for Florida packages and flight-only bookings. More information can be found on the baggage section of our website.

What are the fees associated with overweight baggage?

For details regarding Sunwing Airline’s overweight and/or oversized baggage policy, please visit the baggage section of our website. You may pre-purchase baggage at a reduced rate and pre-purchase a second bag for a Sunwing Airlines flight with our Sales Centre or Groups Sales team at 1-877-786-9464 and through our My Booking portal. Relay services are also available at  1-800-855-0511 (Voice to TTY) or 711.

What is the baggage allowance for infants?

Accepted Answer

Infants travelling on Sunwing Airlines who have not purchased a seat are not entitled to a baggage allowance. Parents are allowed one courtesy item such as a stroller, playpen, or car seat in addition to their own luggage allowance. Parents may also carry a diaper bag in addition to their individual carry-on. For more information on travelling with an infant please visit the baggage section of our website. Are there any household products I should refrain from packing in my luggage?

Please note that customers travelling with household products containing calcium chloride, including but not limited to moisture absorbers, some laundry detergents and fabric softeners, may be subject to additional screening at destination airports, in accordance with the screening processes established by local regulatory authorities. Customers in destination who may have household products containing calcium chloride are encouraged to use the products while in destination and responsibly dispose of any remaining product before departing for their return flights.
